I always mention that carbs like white rice, wheat, and even brown rice are acidic and advice my clients to reduce eating these carbs.
But there is one grain that I highly recommended to include in your meals.
This super grain is none other than quinoa.
Quinoa was first introduced to me because I really love grains but almost all the grains are acidic and I went in search of some grains I could eat.
By some odd coincidence, I met a mother who fed her 9 month old baby with quinoa! I was really amazed at that time but after some studies and research, I realized that quinoa is one of the best nutritional grains ever!
The best thing about quinoa is that it does not contain wheat or gluten and it contains extremely high amounts of protein. You will feel more energized after eating quinoa compared to eating white rice.
But having said that, not all quinoa are equal.
